Welcome to our fourth episode of Beating The Odds with mentalist and memory expert, Jim Karol.
Our fourth guest on Beating The Odds is the President and CEO of the USO-Metro: Elaine Rogers. Elaine has spent the last 40 years serving injured military service members through her role at the USO. She has grown the USO-Metro from $100,000 in 1976 to over $14 million in cash, goods and services today. The USO-Metro houses the largest USO center in the world at 25,000 square feet and functions because of a hard working volunteer group that Elaine has helped to build.
Learn how Elaine and Jim came together to help thousands of veterans while simultaneously starting Jim’s speaking career in the military and how the USO has transformed in the last 40 years to become the power house it is today.
“If you think you’re going to cry then you do not walk into that room. You are here to lift the spirits.”
Lift your spirits, the spirits of those who have served, and put The Odds in Your Favor.
