On Episode 10 of Beating The Odds we have actor Gary Busey. Gary has appeared in over 150 films over his career as a character actor. Many may recognize him from his role in Lethal Weapon and others like Predator 2, Point Break, Under Siege, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He’s also appeared as himself on the iconic Fox animation, Family Guy as well as multiple episodes of Entourage.
Gary and Jim spoke about his portrayal in the Buddy Holly Story and even got to hear some of his new ‘Buseyisms’ straight out of his new book titled, “Buseyisms: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.” The book is co-authored by his long-time partner Steffanie Sampson and includes incredible acronyms Busey has come up with over the years.
